Silver Lake
These pictures are from my trip up to Silver Lake, up American Fork Canyon. It was really pretty up there and was a beautiful 2 mile hike to the lake. On the way up we saw a lot of deer on the hillsides, a few small bucks. There were mostly brook trout in the lake, but the DWR planted arctic grayling, which would have been cool to catch. The brookies were beautiful little fish. But that was the problem they were tiny all of them were between 6 and 8 inches. They were fun to catch and put up a good fight for their size.
